How to crush your car
The out of use of vehicles is regulated by the Decree Law 209/03.
Documents
All the necessary documents on delivery:
- Logbook
- The owner-driver certificate;
- Front or back number plate
- Identity card of the owner
- National insurance number
- In case of loss, destruction or theft of one or more vehicle documents it is necessary to present the original report released by probate authorities; or the original judgement in case of logbook retirement.
- The keeper, if other than the owner, need a proxy in plain paper with attached a photocopy of an identification document of the owner.
Additional information
Concerning the vehicles ownered by a firm, as well as the documents listed before, a copy of the title search issued by the Chamber of Commerce, and an invoice or declaration of transfer is necessary. The consignee will be the legal representative or the delegate. As far as rental vehicles are concerned, the owner delivers a declaration released by the leasing company, in quality of owner, who authorizes the vehicle delivery. If the owner of the vehicle is deceased, the heir has to present a copy of the dead certificate.
You can directly deliver your vehicle at the warehouse. We also do home withdrawal by our authorized means.
At the moment of delivery at the warehouse, a scrapping certificate, with the description of the vehicle conditions and the assurance of managing the vehicle, are released.
The wrecking yard will take care about erasing the veicle from PRA (Pubblico Registro Automobilistico)
The vehicle must not contain any additional waste.
